Owanlea was originally established when the amazing opportunity to purchase our first stallion, Sterntänzer, presented itself. We have since had the pleasure of including the exceptional stallion Win the Gold who along with Sterntänzer now call Owanlea home. They fullfil a life long dream to breed quality performance horses with trainability, athletic movement, a dash of colour and above all wonderful temperaments.

 

Our background has involved horses for over 30 years and we hope to continue with our passion for many years to come. Experienced in many different disciplines including show horse, dressage, eventing, endurance, camp drafting and driving. Our harness work is now for pleasure and you can normally find us out with Win the Gold enjoying a summers eve in his sulky.
